The University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine (UCSF) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

UCSF designates this live activity for a maximum of 29.75 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

  • Optional EKG workshop on April 14 include up to 3.0 additional AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM.
  • Optional workshops on April 16 include up to 4.5 additional AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM.
  • The General Session offers 22.25  AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM.

Nurses: For the purpose of recertification, the American Nurses Credentialing Center accepts AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM issued by organizations accredited by the ACCME.

Physician Assistants: AAPA accepts category 1 credit from AOACCME, Prescribed credit from AAFP, and AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM from organizations accredited by the ACCME.

Pharmacy: The California Board of Pharmacy accepts as continuing professional education those courses that meet the standard of relevance to pharmacy practice and have been approved for AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM

Geriatric: The approved credits shown above include 7.0 credits toward satisfying the requirement under California Assembly Bill 1820, Geriatric Medicine

Pain Management and End-of-Life Care: Approved credits include 6.5 from the General Session and Optional Workshops toward meeting the requirement under California Assembly Bill 487, Pain Management and End-of-Life Care.

The approved credits shown above include 16.75 credits toward satisfying the American College of Surgeons Committee on Trauma requirement for trauma related continuing medical education.

Certified Stroke Rehabilitation Specialist: The approved credits shown above include 2.75 credits toward satisfying the National Stroke Association’s requirements for maintenance of Certified Stroke Rehabilitation Specialist (CSRS) certification.”

Family Physicians: This Live activity, High Risk Emergency Medicine Hawaii , with a beginning date of 04/14/2020, has been reviewed and is acceptable for up to  29.50 Prescribed credit(s) by the American Academy of Family Physicians. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Emergency Physicians: This activity is approved for a maximum of 29.75 of ACEP Category I credit(s) for occurrences of the same content offered within a 1 year time frame if reported at the time the application is initially submitted.

American Board of Internal Medicine MOC
Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to  29.75 MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.
 
American Board of Pediatrics MOC
Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the activity, with individual assessments of the participant and feedback to the participant, enables the participant to earn 29.75 MOC points in the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABP MOC credit.
